Scoil Íosagáin is dedicated to delivering high-quality education for the children of Castlecomer, and surrounsing areas while celebrating the unique strengths and talents of all of our children. This year, we are focused on developing a shared vision for our new school.
Prior to the amalgamation, both schools had a rich & proud history of education in the town. Castlecomer BNS was established in 1939, while the Presentation Sisters had a role in education in Castlecomer since 1829, building our current building in 1965.
