On 5th March, we took part in the 'Get Lost in a Book' campaign for World Book Day in conjuction with Castlecomer Library. We took extra time to read and enjoy our favourite books in hoour of the day. As you will see below, we are very lucky to have easy access to our local library. 

We are very lucky to have Castlecomer Library right on our doorstep. Classes visit regular to borrow books and to partake in workshops.

1st and 2nd class had a great time at a drama workshop organised by the staff in the library. 

We held a Christmas Jumper Sale in December to raise funds for Castlecomer First Responders. We raised €500 and some members from the group came to our January Assembly to receive the funds. This money will be put to good use in our local community. Many thanks to our JSCL, Ms. Carmel Kenny for organising and running the fundraiser.
